" My heart has grown rich with the passing of years,
I have less need now than when I was young
To share myself with every comer
Or shape my thoughts into words with my tongue.
It is one to me that they come or go…
If I have myself and the drive of my will,
And strength to climb on a summer night
And watch the stars swarm over the hill.
Let them think I love them more than I do,
Let them think I care, though I go alone;
If it lifts their pride, what is it to me
Who am self-complete as a flower or a stone.”
You think it’s cool to hate things. And it’s not. It’s boring. Talk about what you love and keep quiet about what you don’t.

Emojis are the strangest addition to our language yet imho
It’s like clip art to our everyday lives
I’ve already wondered more than once how I would articulate something if I couldn’t use emojis. 😶
That’s so strange to me
It’s the evolution of language to make our ever more frequent electronic communication more nuanced, to make up for the lack of facial expression and body language. I love it!
Spend your time on those who love you unconditionally. Don’t waste it on those who only love you when the conditions are right for them.

girl hate is toxic, I don’t have time or patience for girls making fun of each other’s bodies etc
I think the “women are mysterious” thing can also come from:
1) Women actually being quite clear, but not telling men what they want to hear. ”She said she doesn’t want to talk to me? So many mixed messages and confusing signals!”
2) Women not having cheat codes. ”I tried being nice, and she didn’t have sex with me. I tried being an asshole, and she didn’t have sex with me. Come on, there’s got to be some kind of solution to this puzzle!”
3) Women not being a hive mind. ”First a woman told me that she likes guys with big muscles. Then the very next day a woman told me she thinks muscles aren’t attractive at all. Make up your mind, women!”
4) An individual woman doing something confusing, and instead of asking “why is she doing this now?” men ask “why do women always do this?”
Right-wing men: female bodies should be private property.
Left-wing men: female bodies should be common property.
I hate that we can’t openly crave love without appearing to lack self-love. Intimacy is a necessity and no one should ever feel like they’re robbing themselves of anything by asking for someone to share that kind of love with them. You’re not weak because you want someone to look at you like you’re gold. You can look at yourself like you’re gold but I promise that the greatest thing we’ll share as humans is a connection. Connect.
